Table Bay Mall has signed a new key anchor tenant that brings additional convenience and a new complementary offering to its customer base. Brights Hardware, a leading hardware supplies store, will be opening in late October and will cater to local DIY enthusiasts as well as the active building industry in the rapidly expanding Big Bay, Bloubergstrand, and West Beach catchment areas.
This 1,200m2 store, the first of its kind for the retailer who has previously opened independent stand-alone stores, will have its own 500m2 of yard space at the back of the store to facilitate larger orders and collections.
The opening of Brights Hardware is fantastic news in a retail environment that has been under severe pressure as a result of a struggling economy and the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Karla Linder, Marketing Manager at Table Bay Mall, “We are very excited about securing Brights Hardware as a new tenant and can’t wait to have this innovative new concept add value to our customers as well as the building trade in the surrounding and West Coast feeder areas.
