During this time of uncertainty, Table Bay Mall is making every effort and we are fully committed in working together in the combat of COVID-19 for our neighbours, retailers and our Nation.
We are all affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and we are in support of the decision announced on the 23 March 2020 by President Cyril Ramaphosa and the Government to lock down South Africa for 21 days, starting midnight Thursday 26th March – Thursday 16 April 2020, to take serious action to limit the spread of COVID-19.
Therefore, as of Friday 27 March, we will be temporarily PARTIALLY open.
However, Retailers that fall under the Essential Services, termed by the government, and are able to provide food, basic goods, banking services and the provision of hygiene and medical products/services will trade.

We are further committed to taking the necessary action to protect the health, safety and well-being of our customers and personnel working in the Centre by taking additional preventative protocol measures and keeping in contact with the local health authorities.
Additional changes, as detailed below, have also been implemented to ensure a safe & controlled shopping environment for our shoppers and staff.
Trading hours:
Access to the Mall will be as per the trading times of the Essential Services stores indicated above.
Parking:
FREE Parking will be available for all our shoppers during the 21-day period, effective Friday 27 March – Thursday 16 April.
Available Parking Areas:
Basement Parking will be closed for all vehicles for the full 21 Day period.
Please use the Parking Areas on the Ground Floor, Outside Parking (Retail Level).
Entrances:
All Basement Level sliding door Entrances into the Mall will be locked for the full 21-day period. Please make use of all the Entrances on the Ground Floor / Retail Level.
Security:
To ensure the safety of all our tenants and shoppers, we will continue to have the full security compliment on site including 24hr CCTV monitoring.
Cleaning:
We have introduced the following additional precautionary measures to assist in the prevention of exposure for all:
- Hand Sanitisers are provided at all entrances of the Mall.
- Hand Sanitisers and Soap available in all bathrooms. Water has been fully re-instated at all basins.
- Increased cleaning frequency of high-risk areas such as common areas of the mall, especially touch points (i.e.
handrails, escalators, digital information boards, door handles, entrances, toilet flushers, lift buttons) - Using disinfectants that have the prescribed alcohol content.
- Personal protective equipment used for all personnel on site .
Events:
Due to the current situation, the decision has been taken that all events will be postponed until further notice.
We as Table Bay Mall take the current situation very seriously and we would appreciate everyone’s co-operation and understanding through this time.
